Have you ever used Gilad’s workout DVD’s? If you haven’t, you just gotta try ‘em……..they are amazing! You can work out as hard (or as easy!) as you want to. No ridiculous difficult “dancy” choreography in these bad boys, just easy to follow, get right to the point workouts! Oh, and did I mention the white sandy picturesque beaches that these workouts are filmed on that make you feel like you really are on the Big Island of Hawaii???? Ok, so maybe that’s a long shot, but seriously, I’d rather be looking at the beach than a stuffy ‘ol studio in the background! Who’s with me????
I have tried other home workouts in the past. Let’s see, Denise Austin comes to mind. Susan Powter, too. (Remember “STOP THE INSANITY!!!!!!? She also had a few great workout videos.) What about the step aerobics craze???? Really, what ever happened to step aerobics? Does anyone still do that? I would if I still had my step and a VCR to play my old video tapes!
There’s also a few that I have never tried before and would LOVE too. I’m thinking about Shaun T’s INSANITY workouts. As long as I’m gonna get a kick a** workout, I’ll deal with the boring studio background! I did recently try a PX90 workout at a friend’s house, but it was yoga, so I can’t say that I got the full PX90 experience. I’m a fan of “The Biggest Loser” on Monday nights, so maybe I’ll try one of those. Anyways, I’ll keep ya posted!
So for now, Gilad is my guru of choice. I’ve been working out with him for 20 years! His workouts are fun and motivating. He’s good-looking too. Don’t laugh, but sometimes I pretend that I am actually working out in Hawaii with him and the cast. When Gilad asks how everyone is doing at home, I answer! Yes, I really do. And I am telling you the truth when I say that one of my life’s goals is to be one of Gilad’s cast members that exercise with him on the videos. Whatever keeps you going, right?????
